I am hoping my new gym membership will help make it so that evening runs aren't so impossible, on the days when I just don't do the prep for my morning run. Without the gym, it's been too hot to run in the evening, and I never feel like running at night. Ack - I've definitely been digging myself into a hole. I'm enacting a travel ban for the next months. What else? I should quit drinking but.... ugh.

You’ve captured exactly the problem… I am hoping my new gym membership will help make it so that evening runs aren’t so impossible, on the days when I just don’t do the prep for my morning run. But you know how that goes. Even though the running only takes an hour, doing it in the morning means you had to get to bed on time, fed, and hopefully only a little buzzed. In terms of head space that hour of running soaks up something more like 3 or 4. I don't want to come off as negative, I really want you to make it! :) It's just when you schedule your run, you also have to be honest about the lead-up, otherwise you won't be successful week after week.

When life gets crowded I usually have to move my runs into the morning, otherwise they don’t get done.
